Rapper Tory Lanez, currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion (Megan Pete), has reportedly been the victim of a violent attack within the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. According to a post made to his verified Instagram account, Lanez sustained 14 stab wounds during the incident.
The social media post detailed the alleged injuries, stating that Lanez suffered "7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face."
A spokesperson for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation confirmed that an incident occurred at approximately 7:20 am on Monday at the facility involving Daystar Peterson, Lanez's legal name. The spokesperson stated that Peterson was hospitalized following the stabbing and that authorities are currently investigating the matter.
